ISLAMIC, Mongols. Chaghatayid Khans. Tarmaschirin, AH 726-734 / AD 1326-1334. Dinar (Silver, 33 mm, 7.80 g), Anonymous (‘twins’) type, Bukhara. ‘al-ʿadl wa al-mulk ˗ tawʾamān’ (‘Justice and kingship are twins’ in Arabic) in two lines divided by tamgha; illegible date in the margin. Rev. Tamgha in center; around, ‘sikka / bi dār ˗ ḍarb / Bukhārā’ (‘Coin, [struck] in the mint of Bukhara’ in Arabic). Album 1992. Rare. Struck slightly off center and with areas of weakness and scratches, otherwise, good fine.
